EXERCISE INSTRUCTION

  1. Take the rope handle, kneel with one foot, and grasp the handle with both hands.
  2. The back is straight and arched at the lower back.
  3. As you exhale, pull the handle towards your chin, while spreading your arms to the sides.
  4. The elbows are raised to shoulder level during movement.
  5. Hold at the top point for a second, then, while inhaling, return to the starting position.

NOTE: The body should remain stationary during the exercise – do not lean forward when the handle pulls you towards itself and do not lean back during the deadlift.
