EXERCISE INSTRUCTION
- Take the rope handle, kneel with one foot, and grasp the handle with both hands.
- The back is straight and arched at the lower back.
- As you exhale, pull the handle towards your chin, while spreading your arms to the sides.
- The elbows are raised to shoulder level during movement.
- Hold at the top point for a second, then, while inhaling, return to the starting position.
NOTE: The body should remain stationary during the exercise – do not lean forward when the handle pulls you towards itself and do not lean back during the deadlift.
